Shawn Kimel

Shawn founded K2 & Associates Investment Management in 1998 after working as an Analyst for Working Ventures Canadian Fund from 1996 to 1998. Shawn is currently the Chief Investment officer and chairman of K2.  Shawn has spearheaded countless transactions over the years ranging from private placements to take-overs all while mentoring his staff and creating a dynamic team environment. He is involved in investment prospect generation, investment selection, capital raising, and portfolio company management. Shawn earned his B.A. from McGill University and is a M.B.A. graduate from the University of Toronto.
